Cabbage Carrot Sandwich

  • 1.5 cups chopped cabbage
  • 0.5 cups shredded carrot
  • 2 tbsp spring onion

Flour Mix

  • 3 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 1 tbsp cup4cup flour
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp water

Other stuff

  • bread slices
  • cheese slices
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • ketchup to taste
  • 2 tsp butter


  1. Mix veg together in a bowl, add salt and let sit to soften.
  2. Mix flour mix together until pancakey consistency.
  3. Mix the two together.
  4. Heat up pan with butter.
  5. Form mixture into two patties and fry in butter on one side.
  6. While veg is cooking, butter one side of bread and fry in pan like grilled cheese.
  7. Flip each when first side is done. Don't butter other side of bread.
  8. Bread may finish before the veg mixture. Remove bread when finished and add sugar to buttered side.
  9. Melt cheese on veg patties and add to bread to make sandwich. Add ketchup if desired.
