Chana Masala

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 10g ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic oil

Masala

  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 2-4 green chilis
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • Parsley to garnish
  • Rice

Directions

  1. Blend Sauce ingredients together.
  2. Heat sauce in oil.
  3. Add spices to sauce and heat for another few minutes.
  4. Add chopped green chilis and bell pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Add chickpeas, tomatoes, and coconut milk. Simmer to reduce.
  6. Top with parsley and serve over rice.
