Traditional Cheese Steak

  • Beef (beef tips pictured)
  • Provolone
  • Onion
  • Hoagie roll
  • Some type of fat for pan


  1. Melt fat in cast iron pan.
  2. Cook onions.
  3. Cook beef.
  4. Mix onions/beef.
  5. Top with provolone an cover until melty.
  6. Cut roll and place ontop of cheese to bind.
  7. Remove from pan and eat.
